This is the second part of the workshop series on 3D modeling. In this workshop you will learn how to work with several working planes to model multi faceted structures. Building on the basics learned in the first workshop, we will work through a series of exercises to introduce new capabilities in Fusion 360 to quickly and intuitively create complex 3D models.
We use Fusion 360 in this CAD series because it provides a complete suite of professional software at no cost. The contents of the workshop will help you to further implement your idea and also provide valuable information for experienced users.
Please be prepared to use your own laptop with a mouse. The Fusion 360 software must be pre-installed. You can download the software from the following link: http://www.autodesk.de/products/fusion-360/overview
Throughout the semester, independent projects can be built in the campus rapid prototyping lab with the use of large format 3D printers, soldering irons, lathes, milling machines, welders and much more.
