Expounding upon the information presented during the indirect prototyping online workshop, the lab course project starts with CAD design in the Autodesk 3D modelling software suite Fusion 360. During the course, participants will create and print a 3D model for their own indirect prototyping mold to use in conjunction with vacuum forming and finish an individualized project.
Participants need to have basic CAD software skills and completed the online workshop “Indirect Prototyping” to take part in this lab course project.

Throughout the semester, independent projects can be built in the campus rapid prototyping lab with the use of large format 3D printers, soldering irons, lathes, milling machines, welders and much more.
