SAXEED.Think Sustainable

The SAXEED.Think Sustainable project focuses on supporting the spin-off of sustainable startups from higher education institutions in market-oriented fields and on establishing international professional networks among universities, startups, incubators, and industries in Germany, Algeria, and Tunisia. For this purpose, transfer offices will be developed at the partner universities within the framework of the project. These “transfer offices” raise awareness among professors, researchers, and students of topics that offer significant entrepreneurial potential.
In particular, the project focuses on the spin-off of sustainable enterprises and on topics that address international challenges such as climate change, renewable energy, waste recycling, and related fields. A sustainable spin-off refers to the establishment of a new company that aims not only for economic success but also takes ecological and social aspects into account. In developing and implementing its business idea, the company is guided by sustainable principles in order to promote environmental protection and social justice.
