Starting a business in Germany made easy!
Since 2024, students from non-EU countries have also been able to found a startup in Germany. Thanks to an amendment to the German Residence Act (AufenthG), non-EU citizens can now obtain a visa or residence permit specifically for launching a startup—if supported by a recognized startup grant, such as the EXIST Business Startup Grant. If you are studying in Saxony and plan to start your own business, you will need to update your visa status and secure an approved startup scholarship. In Saxony, the following startup grants are officially recognized:
- EXIST Business Startup Grant
- InnoStartBonus Saxony (futureSax)
- ESF Plus Technology Startup Grant Saxony
SAXEED offers free personal consultations, guides you through the entire process, and supports you on your journey to founding a successful business in Germany.
